“This coffee shop is my second home (friends and colleagues joke), but seriously, this is one of my favorite places. TOP-3!”
Located in the Vake district, which is prestigious, green and family-friendly. The atmosphere is lively but cozy: you can work on your laptop or meet friends on the veranda. Excellent coffee, a choice of healthy breakfasts, sandwiches and desserts.
DAVID GARDEN
Address: 5A Mikhail Zandukeli Street

“I especially recommend a table on the balcony - it will be unforgettable!”
A charming place in the city center, suitable for both a romantic dinner and a leisurely lunch. The pasta is delicious, the wine is excellent, the service is warm. The interior is in light colors, with notes of Tuscan style.
KIKODZE
Address: 1 Vasili Petriashvili Street

A place with a soul in the Vake district. Original design, good music, European cuisine and interesting signature cocktails. Especially atmospheric in the evening, and quiet and calm during the day.
RATTO BISTRO

Cuisine: Italian / Pizza / European / Wine bar
"A very cozy courtyard and hearty, delicious dishes"
This is a small gastronomic corner of Italy. Thin-crust pizza, ravioli and prosciutto at a high level. Excellent selection of wines and pleasant music. The atmosphere is like in a family trattoria.
ELENE DARIANI
Address: Paulo Iashvili str., 16

Located in the old Sololaki district, in a residential building - as if you are visiting someone. Exquisite presentation of traditional Georgian cuisine with an author's accent. The music is calm, the interior is intimate. Ideal for a cozy evening.
KETO & KOTE
Address: Davit Toradze str., 3
Cuisine: Georgian / European / Healthy
"This is a restaurant that you still have to find - but it's worth finding!"
A courtyard hidden in the greenery, an old house with wooden windows, good national cuisine with an excellent selection of wines. The atmosphere is like in old Tbilisi. We especially recommend it for your first acquaintance with Georgian cuisine.
STAMBE CAFE
Address: Merab Kostava str., 14
Cuisine: Georgian / European / Fusion / Cafe
Located in the building of the designer hotel Stamba - an interesting place in itself. Right from the cafe you can walk into the garden, see the exhibition or buy a vintage book. The menu is varied, the kitchen is open, you can watch the cooks.
Tips for tourists:
1. Plan your visit
The best time for breakfast is from 9:00 to 11:00, when most cafes have already opened, but the tourist flow has not yet begun. Have lunch before 14:00 if you want to get a good table, especially in popular places. It is best to book dinner for 18:30-20:00, especially on Fridays and weekends, when restaurants are often completely full.
2. Book in advance
If you are planning to visit a well-known place (for example, Keto & Kote or David Garden), be sure to call or book online. In the evening, it is almost impossible to get into popular restaurants without prior reservations, especially in the summer and during the tourist season.
3. Tips and payment
In most places, service is not included in the bill, and tips (about 10%) are welcome. Payment is usually possible both by card and cash, but in small cafes or coffee shops it is better to have some lari (national currency) with you. In the center, almost everywhere they accept cards.
4. Try local wine and lemonade
Every self-respecting restaurant will offer you homemade or natural Georgian wine. Be sure to try Saperavi, Mukuzani, Rkatsiteli or Otape (these are different varieties of grapes). Also order natural Georgian lemonade - tarragon, pear or grape.
5. Try a little, but different
Portions in Tbilisi are often large, especially when it comes to Georgian cuisine. It is better to take 2-3 different dishes for a company and share, so you will try more flavors. Be sure to try:
• khinkali (with meat or cheese),
• pkhali (vegetable snacks with nuts),
• ajapsandali (vegetable stew),
• puri from the oven and khachapuri in Adjarian style.
Tbilisi is a city for those who know how to feel the atmosphere. Here, around every corner, something amazing can be hidden: an antique shop, an art gallery or the perfect coffee. And if you fall in love with this city (which, believe me, happens quite often) and decide to stay here longer, then Housebook specialists will help you find your dream apartment for any budget.
Real estate prices in Tbilisi and Batumi start from $ 35,000, and interest-free installments and mortgages for foreigners are also available.
